ArcticIron Tablets
ArcticIron is a concentrated iron supplement with a delicious orange flavour. The tablet melts in mouth and is absorbed there without causing any upset to your stomach or intestines, which is otherwise common to most iron supplements which commonly cause side effects such as constipation and nausea.
Thanks to the way that the iron tablet breaks down and is absorbed in the mouth, the body is able to absorb iron in an effective and gentle way with no side effects and without upsetting your stomach or intestines.
As a result of being broken down and absorbed in the mouth, the iron enters the bloodstream more quickly, and working together with the vitamin C and folic acid in the iron tablet this helps to boost the body’s iron uptake.
ArcticIron is a customer favourite and rated Best in Test, as well as the test winner most frequently recommended by our customers. It is most appreciated for its great flavour, its rapid impact and the total absence of any side effects. Instant Wellness!
ArcticIron is a vegan iron supplement that is fully produced without any animal-based products, and is particularly suitable for use by pregnant women, vegans and vegetarians who are seeking to improve their iron levels. The iron tablets provide a rapid and effective boost of easily absorbable iron without upsetting any delicate stomachs.
ArcticIron is also a great iron tablet for children aged 6 or older as it tastes great and does not need to be swallowed whole. Just leave it to melt in the mouth!
Since the iron supplement does not pass through the stomach, it is ideal for anyone who wants to avoid the side effects caused by other iron supplements such as constipation and nausea. The benefits are also obvious to those with delicate stomachs or impaired gastric accommodation who struggle to get enough iron from their regular diet or from stomach-absorbing iron supplements.
Common side effects of classic iron tablets and iron supplements are completely avoided when using ArcticIron
- Upset stomach and nausea
- Constipation
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Heartburn

ArcticIron avoids all these side effects common to other iron tablets and iron supplements because the iron is absorbed in the mouth and throat instead of in the stomach and intestines.

Ingredients:
Bulking agents (Mannitol, Microcrystalline cellulose, Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, Sorbitol, Silica, Polyvinyl alcohol, Magnesium salt of fatty acids). Sweeteners (Sorbitol, Sucralose), Iron (Iron fumarate), Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Folic acid (Pteroylmonoglutamic acid), Natural orange flavour, Acidity regulator (Citric acid).
Folic acid
Folic acid is needed to form new cells, including red blood cells. Folic acid is also needed for the body to make full use of the blood-forming vitamin B12. This is important during pregnancy for normal foetal development and to avoid the risk of spina bifida.
Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 - thiamine, is an important vitamin for the body to convert carbohydrates, protein and fat into energy. Vitamin B1 is needed to release the energy in food. It is necessary for the body's muscles and nerves to function normally.
Vitamin B2
Vitamin B2 - riboflavin is important for digesting and metabolising proteins, fat and carbohydrates. It is important in order for the intestinal mucosa, hair, skin and nails to function normally. When the body's metabolism increases, the need for this vitamin also increases.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine, plays a key role in the breakdown and formation of proteins, as well for metabolising carbohydrates, essential fatty acids and nucleic acids. It is also considered important to help minerals cross the cell membrane.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 - cobalamin, is needed to form red blood cells and for nervous system functioning. Vitamin B12 works together with folic acid during important processes in the body. The interplay between vitamin B12 and folic acid affects the uptake of folate by red blood cells.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C has many important tasks in the body. Vitamin C is needed for the formation of connective tissue in the blood vessels, skin, teeth and skeleton. Vitamin C is an important anti-oxidant and helps in the body's defence against free radicals. The absorption of iron is facilitated by the presence of vitamin C, an increase in iron absorption has been observed when the amount of vitamin C during mealtimes is 25-75 mg or more. Vitamin C is also considered necessary to make use of folic acid and vitamin B12.
Rosehip powder
Rosehip powder supplies a small amount of natural vitamin C. The main tasks of the rosehips and nettle extract is to create a natural environment for the iron and vitamin C. In addition, apart from the fruit juices, they also contain flavonoids and various anti-oxidants. The anti-oxidants protect the iron supplement and the body's cells from oxidation.
Essential iron
Iron is a vital and necessary trace element whose main task is to transport oxygen to all the cells of the body. Iron is also important for other processes in the body, for example, in the formation of genetic material and in many enzyme reactions.
The amount of iron stored in the body must not become too low. If iron levels become too low, a person can develop fatigue, listlessness and difficulty concentrating.
We must get iron from our diet because the body is not able to produce it on its own. The majority of the body's iron is found in the haemoglobin in red blood cells. Haemoglobin plays an important role in the body. Iron is critical for this oxygen transportation system.
The body needs iron to form new blood cells. A lack of iron reduces the haemoglobin value, which can also be due to an imbalanced diet or problems with iron absorption. Iron is also important for cell respiration. Several different enzymes take part in cell respiration and they need iron to function. This is particularly true for young people, fertile women and elderly persons. Stress and strong physical exertion take their toll on the body’s iron reserves. Vegetarians/vegans and people watching their weight often have diets that are low in iron and need extra nutrition.
